Scogger is a simple puzzle game, released in occasion of the Annual drunkencoders christmas game coding competion. The goal of the game is to make the frog jump over all the tree trunks. The only avaiable direction the frog can move are forward, left and right (no diagonals), with no jump distance limit! Remember that the frog cannot jump backward! Clean the stage for going to the next level (they are 10 out of 100 random) You can restart the level if you get stuck or skip it (but you have to make the so called "konami trick" (you know what is that, didn't you?) at the titlescreen ;) Thanks Kenney (www.kenney.nl) for graphics! |

Scogger for PSP is the first "port" of Scogger I made for DS. This version also won the Neo compo competion 2008. It doesn't have the touch input of the DS, but it has a better and brighter screen, try it out! Note: the "konami trick" has the "B" and "A" button mapped to "square" and "triangle". |
- Move the frog with D-Pad or Analog stick
- Restart level with X button
- Skip level with START button (trick required)

Scogger for Wii and Gamecube

This is the port for the Nintendo Wii and Gamecube system. Since the coding for Wii and Gamecube is almost the same (thanks to libogc) I decided to release both in the same time. Graphically it's the same on both systems, the only difference is that the Wii version can be used also with the wiimote. For the rest, enjoy the game like on the other systems! |
|
- Move the frog with Gamecube or Wiimote D-Pad, or pointing with Wiimote on the screen
- Restart level with B button
- Skip level with R trigger on Gamecube, or (+) on wiimote (trick required)
- Toggle music with L trigger on Gamecube Pad, or (-) on wiimote
8 Jun 2008 - Scogger 0.2 for Wii and Gamecube is out!
Changelog:
- Initial release
- Compiled against latest libogc
Note (23-nov-08): The Homebrew channel beta 9 requires .dols (or new compiled elfs) to boot, so I've recompiled
Scogger to work with it. All downloads starting from today are Homebrew channer b9 compatible. Thanks Andrew!

Scogger for Mobile phone

This is the infamous port for the mobile phone for Nokia S60 series (MIDP 2.0 CLDC 1.1) and maybe others. It's the most unsupported version since I've wrote it more than 5 months ago and I don't have the tools installed anymore (and don't want to install :P) Also it is the most featureless of all the ports because I wrote in few days, and indeed it comes without audio support. Works for sure on Nokia 6120 Classic and maybe other devices, if you are so brave to install it! For nokia devices I suggest to install through the Nokia PC Suite. Thanks Kenney (www.kenney.nl) for graphics! Feel free to report device compatibily to the url below and I'll add here, thanks! Please don't ask how to install, it worked double clicking jar for me using the Nokia installer. For the rest, enjoy the game while waiting bus or metro! |
- Move the frog with arrow keys
- Restart level with center/fire button
26 Sep 2008 - Scogger 0.2 for Mobile phone is out!

It's finally here :) It's time for High Definition homebrew! New graphics for my latest console: Playstation3! Rules of the game are the same as other ports: frog can jump forward, left, right (not backward) and the goal is to jump over all the leaf of the level. There are 10 levels, out of 100 random ones :) Thanks SpriteAttack for graphics! |
